Well, since Geiranger lies hidden deep within a fjord, it is not always easy. Driving a vehicle is the best option to get to Geiranger. It gives you the freedom to explore. You can, however, rent electric scooters and cars in Geiranger to get around and see the typical tourist views like Dalsnibba, Flydalssjuvel, and \u00d8rnesvingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are some of the ways to get to Geiranger, as far as I know.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>By car<\/strong><br>Cars can be rented both in <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Geiranger\">Geiranger<\/a> and at local arrival spots, such as cities like \u00c5lesund, the Vigra airport, or as far away as Oslo. A camper van can be rented in major cities like Oslo, Bergen, or Trondheim.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>By bus<\/strong><br>Buses come from 2 directions. From over the Strynefjellet mountain plateau or north from Eidsdal there you need to take a ferry over the fjord of XXX to get there.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>By ferry<\/strong><br>You can ride the ferry from Hellesylt or even from Valldal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>By boat<\/strong><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.geirangerfjord.no\/fjord-cruise-alesund-geiranger\">A boat service<\/a> from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.geirangerfjord.no\/english\">Fjord Cruise<\/a> departs \u00c5lesund City to <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Geiranger\">Geiranger<\/a> during the summer months.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>By <\/strong>s<strong>hip<\/strong><br>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hurtigruten.com\/en-gb\/sail-plan\">Hurtigruten<\/a> (Coastal Express) has from June to August a stop at <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Geiranger\">Geiranger<\/a> on the northbound route.
